A historic event in the aviation industry: Saudi Arabia‘s national carrier Saudia has opened regular flights between the capitals of Russia and Saudi Arabia. The first flight on the Riyadh – Moscow route took place on October 10, 2025.
The grand opening of the new route took place at the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests: Ibrahim Al–Omar, CEO of the Saudia Group, and Sergey Kozlov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Saudi Arabia.
It is important to note that Ticket House Management Company has become the general sales agent of Saudia Airlines in Russia, which will provide sales, passenger support and cooperation development. The new route will be an important step in the development of bilateral relations between Russia and Saudi Arabia, opening up new opportunities for tourism, business trips and cultural exchange between the two countries. Regular flights will be operated three times a week on comfortable airliners.
